Cowboy Church Palmer, TX Begins
In 2006, J Bar C Cowboy Church Palmer, TX, began with a purpose. The Cowboy Church of Ellis County started it. They saw a need for cowboy-style worship in north Ellis County. So, we became a Western church for hardworking folks. Our first gatherings featured hymns and simple truths. Then, we grew into a strong Western Christian community. Now, we’re a place where faith fits the saddle.

The J Bar C is really neat, I especially like when we meet and greet. It doesn’t matter if your, Big an tall, or short an small, Or even not a Cowboy at all.
You see, at the J Bar C, We have Brother Reggie, An he helps me keep it tight, So I say my prayers every night.

J Bar C Cowboy Church Palmer, TX, looks ahead with hope. We spread the gospel through Western culture. Because of this, we grow our Western Christian community daily. Every Sunday at 10:30 AM, we gather to worship. Then, we reach out with care.

Our Family has been coming to the JBCCC since 2009.
I would say that the biggest thing our Family has gotten from attending the JBC is “A Relationship with the Lord”. We were a broken and lost family (Steve, Thomas and I) before coming. Now, we are a strong family led by God, and husband Steve.
Our daughter and grandson have a “Relationship with The Lord” as well now. We have a Large Family support system through the JBC and always feel very Loved by everyone, even when we disagree.

My family and I have only been with j bar c since the end of September 2024, we’ve seen God work in both the little moments and the life-changing ones. Whether it was through Sunday services, Wednesday night Bible studies, fellowship events, or time spent serving alongside others, we have felt the Holy Spirit guiding us and strengthening our faith. The teaching at J-Bar-C has helped us understand Scripture in a deeper way, and the people have become like family.
We are thankful for the pastors, leaders, and everyone who has poured into us. J-Bar-C Cowboy Church has truly been a blessing, and we’re excited to continue growing and serving where God has placed us. -Cheyenne and Tristan Tidwell
By chance, in 2017, a friend invited me to play praise music with the J Bar C band. That day, my wife Martha, our son Joseph, and I found a new home. I was raised in a church, here in Palmer, and we attended many other churches looking for deeper meaning. We found J Bar C, a place to delve deep in the Word through bible study and a place for Joseph and me to share our love of music. We cherish the friendships, insightful sermons, and songs, all led by the Holy Spirit. -Mike
