Bridging the Gap
Bridging the Gap is designed to drive home the importance of “The Great Commission,” from introduction to full engagement into making disciples. This is done by assisting new and current members alike in learning who we are in Christ, our purpose and God’s will for our lives. To bridge the gap from our casual understanding of Christianity to one of full awareness of God’s glory and planning.
Matthew 28:19 (Primary Verse)
“Therefore go and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit.” (NIV)
“Therefore go and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit.” (NIV)
Romans 12:1-2 (Secondary Verse)
“Therefore, I urge you, brothers and sisters, in view of God’s mercy, to offer your bodies as a living sacrifice, holy and pleasing to God—this is your true and proper worship. Do not conform to the pattern of this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind. Then you will be able to test and approve what God’s will is—his good, pleasing and perfect will.” (NIV)
